About Jordi Picazo read graduated in English Language & Literature at the University of Barcelona, plus a Ma and PGCE in Education (1981-86). He went on to teach EFL and ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language) for 25+ years. He has also taught ESL (English as a Second language) to migrants in the United States of America as Foundation Courses prior for their applying for the USA citizen status.
From 1990-94 he taught in London where he also pursued Doctorate studies at Birkbeck College, University of London on the Social Psychology of language as he taught Spanish and other subjects in English Schools as a DfE (Department for Education) Qualified Teacher (QTS in the UK).
He also joined Harrow School as a full member of Staff from 1992 to 1994 when he went back to teach in Spain. At Harrow Jordi taught Spanish at GCSE and A Level.
Harrow School, together with Eton College, is the most famous school in the UK, and one of the leading schools in the World.
Jordi Picazo is a registered Journalist in the Catalonian Institute of Journalists (Il.lustre Col.legi de Periodistes de Catalonia) and the UK Chartered Institute of Journalists (CIoJ), as well as a full member of RNA (Religion News Association). He writes on issues of humane interest for digital national media. His investigative interests hover around issues related to Faith and Reason, Faith and Culture, Secularism and non-religion, aggressive laicism policies, the family, etc. In addition to this he has completed the subjects relevant to a full Bachelor of Philosophy in Spain.
He has also been in business and has worked as a sales representative for Private Insurance and Banking Products and Management of Assets.
From 1980 to 1994 he volunteered in youth clubs and parish churches both in London and Spain, fostering the Christian values and learning from them, as a certified youth leader.
